Important Academic Admission process and fact & Figures. Admission will be made strictly on merit birth certificate and transfer certificate will be obtained from previous school are essential at the time of admission.

Academic Session

The academic session starts on 1st April every year and continue till 31st March for the subsequent year. Summer vacations are held every year in the month of May and June. The school resumes in full flow from July onwards, on C.B.S.E Pattern

Eligibility Criteria

The school invites application from the students for various classes from all walks of life. No discrimination in any form is done. As we firmly believe in “Education for one and All”. Entrance exams are mandatory for classes I and above. Direct admissions are granted to Pre-Primary section. There are no Direct admissions to classes X an XII except in case of transfer or shifting of house somewhere near the school. The admission granted is provisional and is only confirmed after the approval of Board.

Registration Process

Registration form and prospectus are available on school office counter on cash payment of Rs 150 and RS 180 by M.O or bank drat in favour of principal. G N Convent School by pass road Garhwa cost of prospectus and registration fees once paid shall not be refund at any circumstances. You can download the registration form from the website or can collect it from the school campus. The form should be completed and submitted along with a transfer certificate and the report card of the previous year.

Test or Interview

Admission is on the basis of written test and an interview. For admission to different classes test are conducted in a course of the class passed. There is no written test for admission to L.K.G Class. However are required to appear for an interview it is essential for a parents to a Company the children.

Document Required

Following documents are required to be submitted:

1. Filled in application for registration and admission form.

2. 4 passport sized photographs.

3. Report Card/Books of the previous year.

4. Transfer Certificate / Birth Certificate whichever is applicable. The T.C should be countersigned by the concerned authority of the educational Board. For students coming from abroad, T.C should be countersigned by the Consulate of the concerning Embassy.

5. Character Certificate duly signed by the Principal of previous school.

6. Registration/Enrolment Number, in case the admission is sought directly in X and XII std. Any other relevant document required by the office.

7. Address and introduction of local guardian at the time of interview. (Presence of Parent is necessary).

8. Fitness certificate made by recognized doctor.

Streams of Studies offered

The school offers Science and Commerce streams at the Senior Secondary level.

Subjects of Study

For Science stream the school offers English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Mathematics & Physical Education. For Commerce streams the subjects offered are English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics & Physical Education.

Students Progress Report

through which parents can keep a track of their kid’s activities by simply logging in to the ID provided by the school. All the teacher’s remarks and progress reports are available online. Parents are also informed regularly about their ward’s progress through the school diary. They can also meet the teachers at the PTMs or on any working Saturday.
